Starting with the first stage....
Document screening: Before starting the documents screening, you will be given a form to fill after which you will be called one after another. You will give them the original of each document listed on their requirements for confirmation, they would then collect the a single copy for each of all the documents. After document screening, candidates that are found with issues will be sent home. Next..
Taking the candidates to candidate's village: After they have finished with people that will be screened that day, your Instructors will lead you to your hostels. Your rooms will be showed to each state. They contain bunks and matress, fully equipped toilets and bathrooms, electricity and water, you will also be issued Blankets. Nex day is.......
The continuation of the documents screening: documents screening will be continued for those that have not done it, when they are done they make corrections, and solve any issue that may arise. The documentation usually takes up to 2 to 3 days. Next....is the..
Medical Screening: This is the most important part of the screening exercise. This stage also contains sub-stages. Which are..
------Electro Cadiograph(E C G)
------Eye test: long sightedness, shot sightedness, and color ---------blindness.
------Teeth test
------X-ray scan
------Physical test: BP, pile, balls check, breast for females, tattoos, stretch marks, bow-legs, k-legs, and flat foot.
-----Blood and Urine test: Diabetes,. Hepatitis and other impure minerals. Finally..
------Body mass Index (BMI): weight measurement, hieght measurement, chest width, and BP again. And that's it for medicals. Next on the list is...
------The physical test: which includes; the 3.2 kilometers race, group obstacles done in group, and individual obstacle crossing. Next is..
The aptitude test: where you will write exams on English, Maths, and psychology test. The English consist of an essay in which you will be given a topic to write on. 71rc topic was "ROLE OF THE ARMED FORCES IN NIGERIA". Engineering candidates will also be required to write another calculus exams. Next is.....
Sand modelling: here you are required to provide a solution to a certain problem giving to you. They want to assess your ability to think and provide solution to problems strategically as a leader. And finally..
Oral interview (facing the board men): this is where you will meet different officers including the board chairman. You will be asked for a small and detailed composition about yourself, followed by your course and general knowledge.
Advice: When in the oral interview hall, only and always face the board chairman. Not even when someone is speaking to you.
